Property Control, BANNER FIS Forms

There are several Banner FIS Forms that a department can use to assist them in managing capitalized assets. Below you will find a list of available forms, a brief description of the form, and some real examples. If you have specific questions regarding these forms or a specific need, please contact the Property Control Manager.

FFIMAST:
The FFIMAST form is used to query individual inventory records. Enter the inventory tag number in the Asset Tag field. If you do not know the tag number you can run a query to identify the tag number by clicking on the flashlight icon next to the Asset Tag field. After entering the Asset Tag number press the [CTRL] + [Page Down] keys. The inventory records for the specific inventory item will be displayed. There are multiple screen of information available for each asset item. To switch between screens press the [CTRL] + [Page Down] keys to scroll through all of the screens or select the specific screen from the options section of the screen.

FWIFLST:
The FWIFLST form is used to query the inventory records based on specific attributes. For example, you need to review the inventory records for a specific item however, you do not know the permanent tag number for that item. You can enter the name of the item in the description field (case sensitive), and press the F8 key to execute the query. All records matching that description will be returned. NOTE: The "%" character can be used as a wild card.

This form can also be used to query a list of items for a specific organization or location. Following the process noted above, but enter the organization or location code in the appropriate field, then press F8 to execute the query.

All of the information on this screen can be printed or saved to an excel file by clicking on the "Create Report or Spreadsheet" option.  Mac users can use the "FTP to Excel" function.

FFIFALV:
The FFIFALV form is used to query the inventory records for a specific item or a range of inventory items. Enter the information you want to run a query on, and press the [F8] key to execute the query. Once you have identified the appropriate item(s), you can move to the FFIMAST or FFIPROC forms by selecting the item in the options section of the screen.

FTVLOCN:
The FTVLOCN form can be used to list all location codes that are set up in the BANNER system.  If you are looking for a specific code in a specific building and do not know the code number, you can execute a query in this form to list all codes for the building.
