Overview:
At the UO, employees have two sets of login information. The first is the UO ID number and PAC, and the second is a DuckID and password. Understanding the steps in the process is very important for all new employees.
Step One: Issuance of UO ID Number to new employees
Unclassified Personnel Services sends all new to campus unclassified employees a letter with the PAC and UO ID number. Classified employees receive their PAC number at their department in a letter issued by Human Resources, New classified employees can obtain their UO ID number from the departmental payroll coordinator.
Step Two: New employees are asked in the letters to use the UO ID Number and PAC to claim their DuckID and to establish their DuckID password on-line at https://duckid.uoregon.edu.
The PAC and UO ID numberwill continue to be used for access to DuckWeb, and employees will be asked to reset their temporary PAC number upon initial login to DuckWeb.

DuckWeb is a secure way for employees to see employee information and payroll data stored in the Banner Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Faculty will require additonal access to the DuckWeb for Faculty section.
Access to benefits enrollment information and university computing resources will be available once the university creates an employment record on HRIS. Employees are encouraged to complete all hire paperwork as soon as possible.
Keep your PAC in a safe place. If you forget your PAC. you may reset it in DuckWeb by clicking on the "Forgot PAC" button and answering your security question. You may also stop by Human Resources (677 East 12th Ave., Suite 400) with your university photo identification card to have your PAC reset.
